Add grouping level above workspaces

An idea under consideration: a way to group related workspaces, adding one optional level of organization above the workspace.

What a group could own

• Variables defined once at the group level and inherited by every workspace in it, with workspace environments still overriding them
• Directory/Git sync attached to the group, so one repo can hold several related workspaces plus their shared variables
• Search across the whole group instead of one workspace at a time

Groups stay invisible until used

With no groups, Yaak behaves exactly as it does today. The grouping layer only appears once the first group is created, so nothing changes for anyone who doesn’t use it.

Status

Early stage: not scoped or designed yet, and even the name (projects, organizations, workspace groups) is undecided. Votes and use cases posted here help shape it.
