What is a perpetual fallback license?
A perpetual fallback license works like this: Cancel within 12 months, and your license becomes
invalid. Cancel after 12 months, and your license remains valid indefinitely, but you lose access to
future updates.
Do you support Purchasing Power Parity (PPP)?
Yes! If you reside in a country with significantly lower purchasing power (eg. India, Brazil,
Pakistan, Ethiopia), you will be given the option to purchase at a discount. If you are eligible, a
banner will display on this page with a unique coupon code.
How does the free trial work?
The trial allows you to use Yaak for commercial use free, for 14 days. It is automatically activated
when the app is first launched. No credit card is required

No. Sharing of license keys is prohibited.
Can I use a license on multiple computers?
Yes. Each license can be used on up to 3 devices by the same individual. Sharing licenses with
others is strictly prohibited. If you reach the limit, you can revoke license activations from your
Yaak account dashboard
How is the commercial use rule enforced?
Yaak relies on users to self-assess whether a license is appropriate for their use case. This
system focuses on sustainability over enforcement.
How does this apply to open source?
Yaak is still open source under the MIT license. You can view, modify, and run the source code
for both personal and commercial use. Licensing applies only to the prebuilt binaries.
