For example, trying to edit environment variables now hangs the whole application, forcing me to kill it. There is not way to change the variable anymore. I was able to set them in earlier versions where it was just an input field.
Clicking “Sharable” or “Private” to change the state doesn’t help. It renders the whole app, despite being greatest API client ever, completely unusable.
Using latest 2025.2.0-beta.6 on Ubuntu 25.10.
Uh oh. Does it work for you in the latest stable release (2026.1.2)? I’m not able to reproduce this on my machine.
Also, you can get back to the “just an input field” by clicking the button in the bottom right.
OK, I didn’t see the form format switch in the corner, was covered on the screen. Switching back to the old input field works - I can use this for a workaround, thanks for your quick response and your help!
As for the 2026.1.2 (and also tried 2026.1.0), the same issue for the new format - hangs immediately once I click on any of the
securefield.Hmm, that’s quite strange that only one of those views wouldn’t work. I’ll take a look and see if I can figure out what’s up.
Have tried reproducing with no luck. Can you let me know what kinds of values are in your environment variables? Are they plain strings, template functions, or other things?
I had issues with complex functions before, they always hang. So in this example those are simple strings.
