Sign Windows Release
Improvement
Microsoft has made it very difficult to sign code these days, requiring HSM (hardware security module) to do so. The major clouds are currently working on providing easy-to-use tools for this, so hopefully it will be easier soon.
I'm holding off on this for now, unless it becomes a priority for many users.
The Windows release of Yaak is not currently signed, so you'll have to "Run Anyway" for now.

Having to “Run anyway” it caused cybersecurity department in my company to come to me and tell me do delete yaak entirely from my pc… And here I wished to finally have some nice api client, not the old rusty postman :<
I’ve just incorporated Mountain Loop Labs Inc in Canada, so can now apply for an EV signing certificate. I just kicked off the process to day so hopefully this will be complete in a week or two
It seems like Azure Trusted Signing is a new thing that might work. There’s some discussion on using this with Tauri so I’m going to give it a try: https://github.com/tauri-apps/tauri/issues/9578

Hopefully! I’m still waiting to get my company verified for signing so we’ll see how long that takes

I have gone ahead and replaced the current 2024.12.1 binary with a signed version. Everything seems to be working great but let me know if you run into issues.
