This is now available in 2026.7.0-beta.8!
I am using rpm build on Fedora 44. For some reason when I click the Check for Updates button, it shows that there are no updates even when there are present. Not a very big issue (at least for me), just to note it.

Working on this now. The app currently skips the update check entirely on .deb/.rpm installs, which is why it always reports no updates. The fix makes the in-app updater work for those installs too, and it will be in the next release.
I have the same issue, I am even on version 2026.3.1
