Native MCP client for testing and debugging MCP servers

Tried to write it a bit like a user story.
I want to point Yaak at an MCP server and test it the same way I test a REST API.
Today the only reliable option is really MCP Inspector. But not being in my API Client means I lose saved requests, environments and Git sync for the same set platform I already keep in Yaak.
One thing I find MCP Clients omit is authing the way Claude Desktop does it with OAuth 2.1 and I’m not sure how but when it fails, show me which step of the handshake broke.
Save connections as workspace items so they live in Git beside the REST requests for the same repo with secrets in environments as usual.
Amazing product so far, absolutely love how clean it is. Looking forward to every new update!
Great request, thanks! I’ve definitely thought about this off and on for a bit and now that MCP is becoming more stable and widely used, it might be worth the investment.
