Currently when a Body Type is select the Type becomes the Title

This can be confusing for Users new to APIs

I think it would be great if the Body & its types could be separated in the UI so its more clear that you are in the body, Example:

Windows2026.8.0

Thanks for the feedback on this.

When you say “This can be confusing for Users new to APIs,” are you referring to your own experience, or experience of someone on your team/etc?

Hi Gregory, Thank you for the consideration

I can say that the answer will be “both”

When I first started using Yaak, I left it for about 1 week after initial testing, when I came back it took some time for me to realize I was in the Request Body & that I had changed it the previous session
Also, some colleagues of mine are very new to manipulating APIs (In general) so I already know this UI is something I am going to have to explain to them in detail

Thanks for explaining, that’s useful to know. It’s not something I’m planning to change at the moment, but I’ll keep it in mind for future work on the request editor.
