Please consider distributing a flatpak version published on flathub, with the minimm required permissions i.e. network access only
All currently distributed Linux versions involve trusting you & your supply chain with everything our logged in user has access to i.e. all of our data
This would be superrrrrr helpful!!!! Direct app store install, would benefit yaak as well since more people would notice it. There are many devs on Linux so this is much neeeeeded

This might help with the trouble people are having with getting Yaak to run on Linux. I have seen a few people (myself included) struggling to get the application to open with the AppImage
Ya I’m not switching to appimage just to try Yaak. Flatpak is the least bad of these supposedly universal package managers. Even Arch only has Yaak within AUR, so little change of getting it on my distro unless I put in some work right now.
Yes, the current AppImage doesnt work on Wayland it seems. Flatpak is the way to go.
