Commercial use and Open Source
ImprovementQuestion
Congrats on the release of the pricing model. I was able to find the drop-down indicating the distinction between Open Source and closed source.
> Yaak is still open source under the MIT license. You can view, modify, and run the source code for both personal and commercial use. Licensing applies only to the prebuilt binaries.
This was very hard to find and I wouldn’t have thought to check if I wasn’t concerned about respecting your rights. Could I advise adding this blurb to every release on the releases page of GitHub:
> [!warning]
> These binaries are licensed and **not Open Source**, but available for personal use. Please see [our pricing page](https://yaak.app/pricing) for more details.Mac
Good feedback! I have updated the current release’s notes, as well as the job that publishes them
