Switching Update Channel

In Settings/General, when switching Update Channel, it should automatically switch the specified channel, not stay on the current version until there’s a new update. At least that’s what I thought (and hoped) would happen.

Downgrading isn’t always possible (though I try to keep backwards compatibility when possible), which is why it doesn’t do this automatically.
Did something break for you on the beta?
Ah, I just saw the other issue you posted. Will get that fixed for the next beta. For now, you can download the latest stable manually, to revert
