Drag item to the bottom of the side bar with an open folder

On the side bar I want to be able to drag an item to the bottom. When the last item on the sidebar is an open folder this is not possible, as the dragged item will be placed in the open folder and not at the bottom of the list.

When I’m dragging the item to the middle underneath an open folder this is nicely solved where the item either ends up in the folder or underneath depending on how low I place it. This should work in the same way for the last folder in the side bar.
