create a new request at the Root Level
Description:
Currently, there is no way to create a new request at the Root Level (Top Level) of the project if you have any existing request open in the center panel.
The "New Request" action appears to be locked to the path of the "Currently Open Request" (Current Tab). Even if I navigate to the root directory in the sidebar, the new request is still created inside the folder of the currently open tab.
Steps to Reproduce:
Open a request located deep in the folder structure (e.g.,
ModuleA/SubModuleB/RequestC).In the left sidebar, click on the Top-Level Project Name (Root) to navigate there.
Click the "New Request" button or use the right-click menu.
Expected Result:
The new request should be created at the Root Level (directly under the project).
Actual Result:
The new request is created inside ModuleA/SubModuleB (the location of the currently open tab).
Impact:
This makes it impossible to quickly create a top-level request without first closing the currently opened tab. It creates a "deadlock" situation where the context of the open tab overrides the context of the sidebar navigation.
